One of my favorite things about driving is when someone flashes their lights at you
as a signal that a police car is up ahead checking your speed on a radar thing.
I think that's special that we've all come together as a people and created a signal
to help us avoid a speeding ticket.
That IS what that means, right?
Yeah, it is.
That would be weird if it didn't mean that
and
what it really meant was f-u.
It doesn't though...right?
Yeah.

other reasons someone may flash their lights..
- to tell you to turn your lights on
- to let you turn in front of them like into a driveway or parking lot
They could also be saying "Hey, I just got new headlights! Check 'em out!" or "I'm desperate for any kind of attention!"
It's all open for interpretation. Like Japanese.
